IN AN INSTANT
The search for privacy was the guiding principle behind Esther Campos' design for this canopy lounger. Its structure, made of corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum, incorporates a base woven from Shintotex, a highly resistant recyclable fiber developed by POINT. Inside, the double lounger is reclining. The exterior is wrapped in Sunbrella curtains—a technical fabric that is resistant to UV rays, fungi, stains, and cleaning processes. “The curtains allow you to create intimate moments outdoors, and they also make the piece aesthetically adaptable to any environment,” explains Campos. “It's an element that evokes a certain romanticism.” The Sunset canopy is made of screen canvas, a microporous fabric that allows air to enter but keeps the heat outside.
