Environmental Performance

POINT has established a Quality and Environmental Policy, which prioritizes the preservation and conservation of the environment, as we are highly aware of the reality of resource depletion and the climate change occurring as a result of human activities.

POINT conducts an annual evaluation of environmental performance, carrying out the corresponding identification and assessment of direct or indirect aspects derived from our activities. For this reason, environmental objectives are defined to control certain environmental aspects.

One significant aspect is the generation of uncontaminated paper/cardboard and plastics resulting from our activities. Their management can involve one of the following situations: management by the client upon unpacking the product, management by the company itself, or management by our subcontractors. Furthermore, electricity consumption in our process is continuous, for which the company has two photovoltaic production units of 100 kW each.

Although our supplier and subcontractor approval process requires compliance with specific work and environmental standards, preference is always given to working with local or national companies, although, in some cases, international suppliers are used due to quality requirements.

Another point to highlight is that our activities generate fuel consumption and the corresponding CO₂ emissions into the environment, both from our commercial activities and the delivery process to clients. For this reason, the company’s management plans to calculate the Carbon Footprint for the year 2026.

The Management of POINT will maintain this performance and review it as it evolves, as we intend for this to be a living document and a firm commitment from all parties involved in implementing it.
